TABLE READING NOTICE

Radio Active’s next table reading is scheduled from 7pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 27 at Whole Foods, 3313 University Ave. Madison, WI 53705.

We will be reading "The War of the Worlds"by H. G. Wells as performed by Orson Welles & the Mercury Theatre on the Air and broadcast on the Columbia Broadcasting System on Sunday, October 30, 1938 from 8:00 to 9:00 P. M.

We can not possibly provide printed scripts for all those who may attend. Please print and bring your own script...

Table Readings are a time when we get together to read over scripts. This is often a very relaxed and informal time usually held every month. This is a time to try new voices and personifications.

Table Readings are open to the public. New voices are always welcome. Please drop by and bring your friends, neighbors, coworkers, parents and children! We often have scripts that call for almost every type of voice. We'd love to see you there.

Radio Active! is a Madison Wisconsin area community theater group, formed in 1998, with the desire to entertain and enrich the public using our country's unique radio heritage. We offer a glimpse into a by-gone era of American pop culture by re-creating the sights and sounds of a broadcast studio during radio's prime, just as it was when these programs were broadcast from network radio studios.
