RADIO ACTIVE!

Please join Radio Active for our annual members’ meeting 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Oak Park Place.

This meeting will give us a chance to discuss as a group our current activities, what we want to do differently, and how people can participate. Beside taking part in table readings, you could help the group by:

Producing a show. Radio Active could likely do a public show downtown, at MadCAP’s space, and a dedicated producer could make that happen. People who have been with the group for a while can tell you more about specific tasks.

Hosting a table reading or other event.

Publicizing our group and creating an online presence.

We will also be electing a Board of Directors for the 2009/2010 year.

Right now the board of directors manages a lot of the administrative aspects of the group, like determining the table reading schedule, but these are things one or two interested members could take on without being part of the board.

This meeting is for Radio Active to determine its future activities and direction, so please attend and share what you would like to get out of the group.

A Table Reading will follow the meeting. We will be reading two scripts from radio’s golden age and two of Radio Active's original commercials.

Radio Active! is a Madison Wisconsin area community theater group, formed in 1998, with the desire to entertain and enrich the public using our country's unique radio heritage.
